The zoo opens at 10.00am daily and last admission is one hour before closing.

Blackpool Zoo, we are very proud to provide homes for over 1500 animals, birds, and insects from more than 400 different species. This fantastic collection represents all major climate areas and continents of the world, so please take the time to browse through this section - you never know what you might learn!!

By Road

Follow the M6 to junction 32 and take the M55 to junction 4, then follow the "brown elephant" signs to the zoo!

Our brand new Entrance Hall contains our admission points, a Costa Coffee Shop, a family gift shop including a 'Shop for the Planet' area, an exhibition hall, children's soft play, 70 seater lecture theatre, arcade and toilets. The Hall is modern and bright and provides a friendly welcome and warm atmosphere.
